Communities of Practice

Safer experiential learning spaces are possible. Let’s build them together.

Growing Together

The Courage to Act Foundation is bringing together work-integrated learning (WIL) and experiential learning (EL) professionals from across Canada in virtual Communities of Practice. From January to March 2026, online sessions were hosted for professionals in Alberta & Western Canada, Ontario, Atlantic Canada, and Québec.

Together, we explored promising practices, practical strategies and policy recommendations that better protect students from sexual harassment during co-ops, internships, labs, placements, and other forms of WIL and EL.
